Our History:

Our congregation was organized in 1766, meeting in private homes and schoolhouses. The present church was built in 1853.

John Reynolds, a Methodist circuit rider, became the congregation’s first pastor. After that, he served up to seventeen other congregations.

Over the years, our church’s name has changed along with that of the hamlet: Campbell’s Creek, Reynoldsville, and Holmes.
